Dr. Patel has been practicing Family Medicine since 1998.
As a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, she specializes in weight management for both adults and children. She is dedicated to rendering a comprehensive, evidence-based weight loss program that uses true and proven methods. Her goal is to provide a safe, affordable, and effective program that focuses not just on weight loss and improvement of health, but also on the long term maintenance of weight loss.
Dr. Patel is passionate about nutrition, wellness, and prevention of disease. She is married with two children and is a resident of Loudoun County. She enjoys traveling, gourmet cooking and gardening.

Our Experienced Staff
MARIA – Practice Manager. Maria comes with 23 years of experience establishing relationships with patients and healthcare professionals. Her knowledge of the healthcare field and her communication skills enable her to serve and provide the best care to our patients and team.
She was born in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the United States in 1999 where she obtained an English Certification from University of Central Florida. She then attended Florida Metropolitan University and received her Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration.
Maria enjoys being a mom to two wonderful boys. In her free time, she likes to ride bikes, and to explore the outdoors with her family.
JASON – Front Office Coordinator. Jason has had an impressive journey to become a front office leader. He was born and raised in Northern Virginia. Since attending high school at South Lakes, he has always been involved in different community programs. He has been working in the healthcare field for over 20 years.
As our front office coordinator, Jason ensures that every single patient who walks through our doors has a pleasant experience.
Jason has always been a scholar-athlete. He played basketball in high school and college which he still enjoys. In his free time, you can find him at the gym, riding his bicycle, or spending time with his son, family, and friends.
KELLY – Nurse Practitioner. Kelly obtained her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise from Virginia Tech University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Washington University. She then served as a pediatric nurse for over 5 years, before returning to school to obtain her Master of Science and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from George Mason University. Kelly is passionate about nutrition, exercise, and supporting others in reaching their individualized health goals.
Kelly was born and raised in Ashburn, Virginia and continues to live here with her husband. She enjoys all avenues of fitness, loves all water activities, and spending time with family.
NICOLE – Nurse Practitioner. Nicole has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2018. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. She served as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department for 10 years and eventually returned to Chamberlain University to earn her Masters of Science and Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Nicole has worked with patients in women’s health, mental health, and urgent care settings. She is passionate about helping people achieve overall health and wellness. Nicole has a passion for nutrition, which led her to earn a post-masters certificate in nutrition and healthy living from Cornell University.
Nicole lives in Loudoun County with her husband and two children, as well as two dogs and a cat. She enjoys spending time with family and reading.
LIDA – Nurse Practitioner. Lida earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Shenandoah University in 2008. She then served as a care manager and labor and delivery nurse. In 2020, she returned to school to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from George Mason University.
Lida has a passion for overall well-being and empowering patients to lead a healthier life. She takes time to understand each patient’s unique journey, concerns, and goals. She believes in the importance of open communication and education.
Lida lives in Loudoun County with her husband and two daughters. As a family, they have a passion for nutrition, staying active, and hiking any chance they get.
AMY – Nutritionist. Amy was a student-athlete at the University of the District of Columbia where she obtained her Bachelors in Nutrition & Dietetics. She then completed a 10-month internship in Lafayette, Louisiana where she gained experience in various areas of nutrition. Amy enjoys exercising, cooking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants. Amy enjoys guiding others to reach their health goals and helping them strive towards becoming the best versions of themselves.
ROCHELLE – Health Coach. Rochelle received her Bachelor of Arts from Antioch College, and pursued her Masters in Education at Goucher College. She has been a health coach for 18 years, fulfilling her life-long passion for teaching and educating others about health, nutrition, and weight loss. She is happiest when successfully helping others make positive changes to their health and well-being. Rochelle came to PPWWC because she found it unique in its scientifically-based medical approach to weight loss, weight management, and wellness.
Rochelle and her husband enjoy hiking and kayaking, as well as reading, history, and classical music.
OLGA – Medical Assistant. Olga was born in Odessa, Ukraine. She has a Bachelors degree in Psychology. She has been in the medical field for over 15 years.
She loves obesity medicine because it’s about preventing disease, and not just about treating it. She feels proud and happy when she can make a difference in the every day life of our patients.
SIMRAN – Medical Assistant. Simran received her Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education, and Exercise Science from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has been working in patient care for over 6 years, and is pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant. She is very passionate about nutrition and its role in preventing and treating various diseases.
Simran was born and raised in Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exercising, and cooking!
