Obesity Medicine Specialist
Dr. Patel has been practicing Family Medicine since 1998.
As a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, she specializes in weight management for both adults and children. She is dedicated to rendering a comprehensive, evidence-based weight loss program that uses true and proven methods. Her goal is to provide a safe, affordable, and effective program that focuses not just on weight loss and improvement of health, but also on the long term maintenance of weight loss.
Dr. Patel is passionate about nutrition, wellness, and prevention of disease. She is married with two children and is a resident of Loudoun County. She enjoys traveling, gourmet cooking and gardening.

Our Experienced Staff
Naomi – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She received her LPN degree from the Loudoun County School of Practical Nursing in Leesburg, VA. A Loudoun County native, Naomi has a passion for people and is excited to serve her local community. Naomi enjoys being a part of a team that helps patients achieve their weight loss goal and improve their overall health. In her free time, Naomi enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, singing, listening to music, and being active in her church.
Kari – Office Manager. She has enjoyed the challenge of opening this office from ground up and seeing the amazing results accomplished by our patients. She has spent many years in the management field and takes pride in creating a positive experience for each and every one of our patients. Kari is a Navy veteran, a longtime military spouse, and a proud mother of two sons, a daughter, and two grandchildren. She likes to travel, go on amazing adventures with her husband, and spend time with her family, especially the grandchildren!
Genna – Nutritionist. She strives to help our patients work towards their healthy lifestyle goals. She received her BS in Biology at Longwood University and her MS in Nutrition and Food Studies at George Mason University. Her one true passion is to help people better their physical and mental health by creating healthy eating and exercise habits. She loves the team approach we take at PPWWC and how well we all work together to play a pivotal role in each patient’s success.
Jennifer – Health Coach. Before joining PPWWC, she worked as a physicians assistant for 9 years. She received a BS in Psychology at Brigham Young University. She is a proud mother of four children and one grandchild. She and her husband have worked as directors and motivational speakers for Brigham Young University’s Especially for Youth Program. Serving for 3 and 1/2 years as the president of a philanthropic organization, Jennifer is committed to helping others improve their circumstances. She strives to use those interests and passions to help others in forming positive lifelong changes.
Angelica – Front Desk. She has worked in the medical field as a personal care aide for patients with dementia and traumatic injuries for over 3 years. She is currently a full-time student studying Biology with plans to become a Physicians Assistant. She enjoys helping her community by participating in food and school drives to help underprivileged youth. She loves cooking and watching cooking shows. She is passionate about helping others and making a difference in the life of others.
