Obesity Medicine Specialist
Dr. Patel has been practicing Family Medicine since 1998.
As a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, she specializes in weight management for both adults and children. She is dedicated to rendering a comprehensive, evidence-based weight loss program that uses true and proven methods. Her goal is to provide a safe, affordable, and effective program that focuses not just on weight loss and improvement of health, but also on the long term maintenance of weight loss.
Dr. Patel is passionate about nutrition, wellness, and prevention of disease. She is married with two children and is a resident of Loudoun County. She enjoys traveling, gourmet cooking and gardening.

Our Experienced Staff
RENEE – Nurse Practitioner. Renee has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2017. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason University. She then served as a Labor & Delivery nurse for over 10 years, before returning to school to obtain her Master of Science and Family Nurse Practitioner license from George Washington University.
Renee is passionate about preventative care and supporting patients to live a healthy, fulfilling life. She wants to help provide a personalized plan for each patient to motivate them to achieve their health goals. She enjoys spending time with my family, reading, and playing the piano.
ANNE-MARIE – Nurse Practitioner. Anne-Marie Mullikin has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2012. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University. She then served as a nurse in the Navy, achieving the rank of Lieutenant, before returning to school to obtain her Master of Science and Family Nurse Practitioner license at the University of Maryland.
Anne-Marie believes in helping each person find his or her personal motivation for wellness. She is ready to listen, offer guidance and support, and cheer on her patients as they work toward a healthier self. She enjoys time with her husband and children and getting outside in nature as much as possible, hiking, and working on puzzles.
GENNA- Office Manager/Nutritionist. Genna has enjoyed watching the practice thrive and strives to create an office environment that make patients feel welcome. She is passionate about helping our patients work towards their healthy lifestyle goals both inside and outside of the office. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Longwood University and obtained a Master of Science in Nutrition and Food Studies from George Mason University. She loves the team approach that is taken at PPWWC and how well everyone works together to play a pivotal role in the success of each and every patient.
MELISSA– Nutritionist. Melissa is a Certified Personal and Sports Nutritionist. She graduated with a Bachelor in Science in Physical Education and Health from Kean University in New Jersey. Melissa values one-on-one counseling for a personal and individualized approach. She uses her knowledge and passion for nutrition and wellness to assist patients in feeling their best and achieving their individual goals so that they can live a healthier and more fulfilling life.
JACKIE – Nutritionist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pre K-6 education from Longwood University and has a Master of Science in Nutrition and Food Studies from George Mason University. Jackie is passionate about teaching and educating others about health and nutrition. As a former elementary school teacher for Loudoun County Public Schools, she is excited to combine both of her passions together in a career in nutrition and healthcare!
Her goal is to cheer her patients on as they work towards a healthier lifestyle. Jackie lives in Ashburn, VA and enjoys traveling, running, hiking, and cooking.
ROCHELLE – Health Coach. Rochelle received her Bachelor of Arts from Antioch College, and pursued her Masters in Education at Goucher College. She has been a health coach for 18 years, fulfilling her life-long passion for teaching and educating others about health, nutrition, and weight loss. She is happiest when successfully helping others make positive changes to their health and well-being. Rochelle came to PPWWC because she found it unique in its scientifically-based medical approach to weight loss, weight management, and wellness.
Rochelle and her husband enjoy hiking and kayaking, as well as reading, history, and classical music.
ANGEL – Health Coach. Angel is very passionate about helping people attain their health goals and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She believes in building rapport with and getting to know each and every patient well in order to provide the best care. Angel received both her Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Movement Science and Master of Science in Physical Activity & Wellness Science at University of Vermont.
INDIA – Medical receptionist. India enjoys celebrating patient victories, being the face of the practice and helping people become better and happier versions of themselves. India has an education in IT & Social Media Marketing. India and her fiancé enjoy traveling, hiking, salsa dancing, reading and going to Caribbean Carnival every year.
ABBY – She is a rising junior at Virginia Tech. She is majoring in Human Nutrition, Food, and Exercise with a minor in Psychology. Abby loves learning about human health and how to fuel the body with good nutrition. After graduating from Virginia Tech, she aspires to attend school to become a Physician Assistant. In her free time, Abby enjoys running, shopping, and spending time with friends.
ALEX – Fitness Trainer. Alex received his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Marshall University. He also has several exercise certifications including NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist, among others. He enjoys motivating and helping patients meet their health and fitness goals.
